Industrial Espionage can be very difficult to quantify, but common belief is that it is growing in occurrence and increasing in value of loss. There are many reasons for industrial espionage, but it usually boils down to the basics, theft, fraud or corruption!
There are several ways that the problem can manifest itself; for example, a computer hacked from an external source, or an internal hacker, on the company’s staff.
Industrial espionage is a very different sort of crime and needs different skills sets. AIS has these skills and the Detectives to conduct an investigation of this type and to report the facts.
